JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno met one of the students with special needs while visiting the Al-Ishlah Dadapan Islamic Boarding School, Bondowoso, East Java.

During his visit he provided motivational material for students in the Creative and Digital Industries.

The student with special needs who has achievements in the illustration program is named Putra Anugrah Pratama. Sandiaga said he was proud of Putra.

With his limitations, he did not give up in developing his potential.

"Many students, especially at the Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School, have the same potential as Putra and are very proud. Don't consider this son's limitations as an obstacle, but instead it is an advantage," said Sandiaga, Monday, August 8.

Putra's work, which has reached 100 illustrations, is very unfortunate for Sandiaga because it was not uploaded to social media. Sandiaga also encouraged Putra to create Islamic content.

"There are already 100 anime content, later we will start curating 10 or 15 works that we raise on social media with the permission of Pak Kiai to encourage Islamic creative content to be displayed so that it can increase business and work opportunities," said Sandiaga.

Sandiaga also provided the Clip Studio Paint Pro illustration application software as an encouragement to Putra to be even more creative. Putra said he was happy with the gift Sandiaga gave him, so he could express himself more freely.

"Thanks to Mr. Sandi for giving me a program for illustration. I did not expect that a paid illustration program would be given which is quite expensive and I am very grateful for that," said Putra.
