JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto and General Chairperson of the PKB Muhaimin Iskandar have registered their parties together with the General Elections Commission (KPU) on Monday, August 8.

Both of them are also wearing white shirts. In fact, Gerindra and PKB also marched together complete with reog Ponorogo and lion dance attractions.

So, when will the two officially declare a coalition?

In response, Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto said the coalition with PKB would be discussed at the post-national leadership meeting (Rapimnas) on August 12-13.

"On the 12th there will be a Gerindra Rapimnas, then we will wait for the results of the Rapimnas, only later on the 13th, God willing, if everything goes well, then we will hold a meeting," said Prabowo accompanied by PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar at the KPU Office, Jakarta, Monday, 8 August.

Including, about his readiness to run again as a presidential candidate if given a mandate by Gerindra cadres. "Yes, we will see the results of the National Meeting," he said.

However, Prabowo stated that he was ready to be nominated as a presidential candidate. Because according to him, being president is a sacred duty to serve the people.

"But if I get the task, I will accept it as a sacred duty, to serve and serve the people, I will accept it well if I am rightly nominated," said the Minister of Defense.
