Not Only Wives Become Victims, Men In Banyumas Sex With 4 Young Women Offering Jobs As SPG

JAKARTA - A man with the initials TT (51), a resident of Banyumas Regency, Central Java, is not only involved in selling his wife to his own colleagues. The results of the police investigation, TT is known to have had sex with 4 women.

The method used by TT is to recruit young women and are promised to be employed as sales promotion girls (SPGs) for cosmetics companies.

"The perpetrator pretended to be a father figure and called his victims (women who were recruited) and then told them to have sex with TT to get rid of bad luck," said the Head of the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the Banyumas Police Satreskrim Ipda Metri Zul Utami in Banyumas, as quoted by Antara. The perpetrator was arrested by the Banyumas Police Satreskrim officers in Yogyakarta on August 1, 2022. Previously, TT was reported by his wife for selling herself to another man who was her own close friend in May 2022.

"This case was revealed after the perpetrator's wife, I (35) reported her husband's actions to us in May 2022," said Kasatreskrim Banyumas Police Commissioner Agus Supriadi Siswanto at the Satreskrim Office, Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency.

After being reported by his wife with the initials I, TT immediately ran away until he was finally arrested. The results of the police investigation, TT's actions were carried out in January-December 2021 and sexually assaulted his wife.

So far there are three men served by the victim on orders and threats from the perpetrator. The three men are close people or associates of the victim's husband.

When his wife had sex with another man in her room, the perpetrator hid behind the door or above the ceiling while watching the act because he was known to have experienced sexual deviance in the past year.

The victim was also hospitalized for three days due to violence from her husband.

"The victim doesn't even know how much her husband sold her, but every time she finished serving another man, she was given Rp100 thousand by the perpetrator. We are still investigating because the perpetrator's information is still changing," said Kasatreskrim.

In connection with this case, the perpetrator will be charged with Article 44 Paragraph 2 and Article 47 of Law Number 23 Year 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence with a minimum penalty of 4 years in prison and a maximum of 15 years in prison.
