Police Say, The Killer Of Motorcycle Taxi Drivers In Sukabumi Is Small In Stature But Is Known To Be Sadistic, Recidivist In Cases Of Robbery, Fraud And Embezzlement

JAKARTA - The Sukabumi Police Criminal and Investigation Unit revealed the motive for the murder carried out by suspect VS, who is a recidivist to a motorcycle taxi driver named Salman, a resident of Legokloa Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, last July 23.

"The motive of the suspect with the initials VS was desperate to kill his victim because he wanted to control his property, namely the motorbike and the money from the victim's motorbike pawned was used for extravagance," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Dedy Dharmawansyah, quoting Antara, Sunday, August 7.

According to Dedy, although VS is thin and short, the suspect is known to be sadistic in carrying out his actions. Before committing the murder of a motorcycle taxi driver, VS had also been in prison for being involved in a violent theft case.

Where the suspect had committed acts of violence against a woman in Simpenan District because she wanted to take the victim's gold necklace. After several years out of prison and holding the status of a recidivist, the person concerned is not repentant but is getting worse.

Previously, VS was also reported to have committed embezzlement and fraud, not long after the suspect was again involved in an even more serious case, namely the murder of a motorcycle taxi driver with the aim of controlling his property, namely his motorbike.

"The suspect was arrested by the Cisaat Police, Sukabumi City Resort for cases of theft and embezzlement. However, for the sake of developing the case, we finally brought VS to the Sukabumi Police Headquarters for an investigation. The point is that the suspect every time he commits a crime with an economic motive for extravagance," he added.

As for the chronology of the alleged murder with the background of the theft with violence starting on Saturday, August 23, suspect VS asked Salman to take Salman around 14.00 WIB to the Girimukti Village area, precisely in Balewer Village, the suspect pretended to want to go down to urinate.

However, after an argument broke out with the victim, the VS perpetrator took the weapon in his bag then stabbed the victim and pushed the victim to the side of the road, after that the suspect took a necklace which had a vehicle registration on it and took away his motorcycle.
