JAKARTA - Head of Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) Sugeng Teguh Santoso assessed that the placement of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters was carried out to expedite the process of examining Irsus and Timsus.

"The current investigation is related to serious violations of the code of ethics, namely destroying crime scenes and eliminating evidence, pistols, projectiles, and others. Violations of the FS code of ethics can be fired," said Sugeng to VOI, Sunday, August 7.

Sugeng assessed that violating the code of ethics is also a criminal act, namely violating Article 221 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 233 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 4 years.

In fact, if there is an act of ordering to take CCTV that does not belong to him, it can also be subject to Article 362 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56. The threat is 5 years.

"So that he can be detained, in the interest of waiting for an examination of the main case of the death of Brigadier Y, which is investigated under Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with 55 and 56 of the Criminal Code," said Sugeng.

Previously, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Pol Dedi Prasetyo said Inspector General Pol Ferdy Sambo was placed in a special place (Patsus) at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java, for the next 30 days.
