Police Arrest 8 Motorcycle Gang Members In Central Jakarta, 3 Sajam And One Airsoft Gun Confiscated

JAKARTA - Eight people suspected of being members of a motorcycle gang carrying sharp weapons were secured by the Central Jakarta Precision Pioneer Patrol Team (TPPP), Saturday, August 6, evening.

They are suspected of carrying out a crime on Jalan Printing Negara XI A, Rawasari Area, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta.

The Head of Samapta at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Rustian Effendi, said that during the patrol, members saw a group of motorcyclists carrying sharp weapons.

"When stopped, the motorcyclist fled and several of them fell. The officers also secured 8 people along with evidence of sharp weapons brought by the perpetrators," said Commissioner Rustian when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, August 7.

In addition to securing the perpetrators, officers also secured 5 motorbikes belonging to the perpetrators along with 3 sickles and 1 airsoft gun.

"The perpetrators and all evidence were handed over to the Cempaka Putih Police. Further handling was carried out by the Cempaka Putih Police," he said.
