Returning From Teaching, Female Teacher Killed By A Truck Tire At Pondok Bambu, Residents Call The Road Slippery After Rain And Lots Of Excavated Land

JAKARTA - A female teacher at the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) with the initials S, was found dead horribly after being run over by a truck loaded with materials on Jalan Pahlawan Revolution, Pondok Bambu, East Jakarta, Thursday, August 4. At the time of the incident, the victim was driving a motorcycle.

According to Jayadi (39), one of the eyewitnesses to the incident, the accident began when the victim with the initials S crossed from Klender to Kalimalang via Jalan Pahlawan Revolusi.

Then because after the rain, the addition of excavated soil from the fiber optic cable network project made the road slippery, causing S to lose control of driving an automatic type motorcycle with number B 4595 KIP.

He continued, S fell and suddenly his head was run over by a truck tire loaded with material number P 8353 VJ which was traveling from the same direction.

"So at first he slipped because of the excavation, went straight under his head. Then (died) on the spot. His head was run over by the left rear tire," Jayadi told reporters at the location, Thursday, August 4.

Jayadi said the victim's head had been crushed by a truck.

"His head has been crushed. The helmet is also destroyed. The victim is a girl, ladies," he said.

Meanwhile, after being involved in an accident, the truck loaded with materials also entered one of the excavations whose position was still close to the excavation where the accident occurred which was in front of the gate of Pondok Bambu Asri Housing.

"After the accident, the truck went forward and even went into the excavation, couldn't walk," he said.

Meanwhile, according to Raymon (32), a local resident, the victim had an accident on his way home from work.

"If his family said he just got home from work," added Raymon.

The accident case was handled by the East Jakarta Regional Traffic Unit. Meanwhile, the victim's motorbike was transported by a car belonging to the East Jakarta Regional Traffic Unit.
