Not Only Social Assistance Buried In Depok, These Are The Findings Of The Ministry Of Social Affairs Inspectorate

JAKARTA - The Inspectorate Team of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) found social assistance buried in the JNE parking lot, Sukmajaya Village, Depok, West Java, not only in the form of rice.

Inspector General of the Ministry of Social Affairs Dadang Iskandar said that buried social assistance also contained eggs, after the team and two auditors checked directly into the field.

Dadang said conditions in the field smelled like rotten eggs.

"So if you look at the existing conditions, this is actually not just rice assistance, but there is flour and eggs," said Dadang as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 2.

Then the Inspectorate Team of the Ministry of Social Affairs matched the physical data of rice sacks found weighing 20 kg and 5 kg in the field.

Dadang said that the 2020 Ministry of Social assistance was launched for 20 kg of rice, there was a sticker that said "Presidential assistance through the Ministry of Social Affairs" on the rice sack.

However, on the rice sack buried in Depok, no such sticker was found from a physical match.

Dadang said that his party still does not believe that the social assistance buried in Depok belongs to the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Meanwhile, regarding the buried social assistance carried out, Bulog has explained that they are collaborating with a third party, namely PT SSI, which is collaborating with the JNE delivery party.

For this reason, the Ministry of Social Inspectorate team will conduct further investigations regarding these findings. Because the explanation from the Bulog, that this assistance is not only from the Ministry of Social Affairs, said Dadang.

“There is also a local government providing assistance in the form of sugar and eggs. If the Ministry of Social Affairs itself does not have eggs, there is no flour. But in the field the conditions are rotten, the smell of eggs and all kinds of things,” said Dadang.

Previously, the Deputy for Coordination for Social Welfare Improvement at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture Andie Megantara said that according to the results of the coordination of the Aid Team and Targeted Subsidies with the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Social Service and Depok City Police, approximately one tonne of Rice brand rice was buried. in Depok is the Presidential Special Assistance or Banpres rice in 2020.

According to him, the government in 2020 will distribute Presidential Assistance in the form of rice to 1.9 million beneficiary families in the Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi area. In this case, every family affected by the COVID-19 pandemic gets 25 kilograms of rice.

The rice found (buried in Depok) is thought to have come from the distribution of Banpres Phases 2 and 4 of 2020, Andie said.
