Increasing Demand, This Medical Equipment Distributor Is Optimistic Its Performance Grows 20 Percent

JAKARTA - The medical and medical equipment distributor company, PT Itama Ranoraya Tbk, is targeting performance by the end of this year to grow by around 15-20 percent in terms of both revenue and profit. The optimism of the company coded with IRRA shares is in line with the increasing demand for medical devices amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

This was conveyed by the Director of IRRA, Pratoto Satno Raharjo, in a public presentation after the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), in Jakarta, Friday, November 13. Toto said that this year his party is optimistic that core net profit will grow above 20 percent or reach IDR 40 billion.

"We are still optimistic that we will be able to realize this target," said Toto.

Furthermore, Toto said, the performance distribution pattern in the fourth quarter of this year is not much different from last year's, where the fourth quarter will be the biggest contribution compared to the other three quarters.

"Apart from needles, other medical devices, especially Hi-Tech Healtcare Solutions, such as USG devices, Rapid Test, and others, also boost the company's revenue," he said.

In addition, the company is optimistic that next year the company's performance will be even better, in line with the need for single-use syringes for the mass COVID-19 vaccination process in 2021.

"Our products (single-use syringes) have been certified by the WHO (World Health Organization). We will participate in the procurement of syringes from the government for COVID-19 vaccination," he said.

For your information, the company has made changes to the articles of association as well as changes in management in IRRA Management. That too was approved by the shareholders at the EGMS which was held today. In the EGMS, IRRA Management has appointed Prof. Dr. Tjandra Yoga Aditama as President Commissioner of the Company.
