According to him, the West Java Governor's decision letter is a follow-up to the SK DPP Gerindra Number 06-0108/Kpts/DPP-Gerindra/2021 dated June 19, 2021.
From the letter, Fitria continued, the Cirebon City DPRD held a plenary meeting on February 9, 2022 and approved the dismissal of Affiati as Chair of the Cirebon City DPRD for the 2019-2024 period to be replaced by Ruri Tri Lesmana.
According to him, the results of the plenary meeting were conveyed to the Governor of West Java, as the representative of the central government through the Mayor of Cirebon.
"The West Java Governor's decision letter was received by the leadership elements of the Cirebon City DPRD and it was decided to hold a plenary meeting for taking the oath on Monday, August 1, 2022," he said.
Meanwhile, the former chairman of the Cirebon City DPRD, Affiati, admitted that she accepted the decision, even though she, through her attorney, had filed a lawsuit after the issuance of the decision letter from the Gerindra DPP.
He said he was relieved after being officially replaced, even though in the 2019 general election he received the most votes, reaching 4,311 votes, and led him to become the Chairman of the Cirebon City DPRD.
"What is clear is that I have no burden, personally. And this is a lesson for me and all," he said.
Meanwhile, the newly inaugurated chairman of the Cirebon City DPRD, Ruri Tri Lesmana, admitted that he would further improve the performance of the DPRD in the future, so that it would be even better in carrying out the people's mandate.
