Police Arrest 3 Youths Behind The Fight That Killed One Person In Cipondoh Tangerang

JAKARTA - The police arrested three youths for being involved in a bloody brawl that caused the death of RH (23) in the Cipondoh area, Tangerang. There are still two other people who are still being hunted.

"There are three perpetrators who have been named as suspects," said Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Kombes E. Zulpan, to reporters, Friday, July 29.

The three youths named as suspects include R, DAA, and AA. Meanwhile, the two people on the wanted list (DPO), S and BU.

The bloody brawl incident occurred on Saturday, July 23. It all started when the suspects and victims mocked each other on social media. In the end, the two sides made an agreement to fight each other.

In the brawl, the victim group lost. He was separated from his comrades while trying to escape.

But the victim's efforts were in vain. He was chased by the perpetrators. Until finally, the perpetrators stabbed and died.

"The victim, in this case, the initials RH, died. A 23-year-old man then suffered 4 open wounds due to a stab in the back," said Zulpan.

In this case, the suspects were charged with Article 170 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code. Thus, they face a maximum of 12 years in prison.
