Regarding The ACT Foundation PUB Permit, Social Minister Risma Coordinates Again With The Police

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Social Affairs is still waiting for a decision from law enforcement officials regarding the permit for collecting money and goods (PUB) conducted by Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT).

Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini explained that his ministry had temporarily suspended the distribution of collected donations made by ACT.

His party will soon meet law enforcement officials to discuss the continuation of the distribution of ACT's donations.

"It will be stopped first, later there will be a decision by the APH (law enforcement officers) as to what kind, okay, the investigation is complete. What kind of fund will this be, we will discuss it later," said Social Minister Risma, Thursday, July 28, quoted from Antara.

Social Minister Risma said that during the ACT investigation process, sufficient evidence must be obtained. This is so that the distribution of the collected donations is not suspected of losing evidence.

The process of distributing the collected donations will be carried out according to the decision of law enforcement officials.

"I am waiting for the inspection to be completed. When it is finished, we will ask how the funds are," he said.

The Ministry of Social Affairs revoked the permit for the Implementation of the Collection of Money and Goods (PUB) that had been given to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Foundation in 2022, due to an alleged violation of regulations by the foundation.

The revocation was stated in the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 133/HUK/2022 dated July 5, 2022 regarding the revocation of the permit for the collection of donations to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap Foundation in South Jakarta which was signed by the Ad Interim Minister of Social Affairs Muhadjir Effendi.
