Although There Is Good News That The COVID-19 Case Is Sloping In Garut, Regent Rudy Gunawan Asks Residents To Be Disciplined For Health Care

GARUT - Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan stated that the development of COVID-19 cases in Garut Regency, West Java, had not increased significantly for several weeks in sloping conditions.

Even so, the public is still warned to always discipline the health protocol and be vaccinated.

"The case of COVID-19 is still there, the case has not increased significantly, it's sloping," said Rudy Gunawan in Garut, Antara, Wednesday, July 27.

He said the Garut Regency Government was still alerting the COVID-19 Handling Task Force team to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak, which has been the government's concern.

The team in the field, he said, was still moving to carry out vaccinations and also reminded the public to continue to implement procedures to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

"I still urge the public to always be disciplined in the procedure, in addition to wearing masks because the epidemic is still ongoing," said Rudy.

The Garut COVID-19 Handling Task Force is still conducting health checks on people who are known to have had physical contact with COVID-19 patients.

The results of the latest daily reports of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 were found to be two cases based on the results of the PCR swab test, and one case based on the antigen swab test.

Overall, 23 active cases of COVID-19 are self-isolating, and four cases are isolated for treatment at the hospital. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Garut was 30,983 cases, of which 29,680 cases were declared cured and 1,276 cases died.
