Network Disrupted While Playing Mobile Legends, Men In Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra Hits His Wife

MEDAN - Men in Tanjungbalai City, North Sumatra were forced to deal with the police. It was reported that his own wife had the initials N (26) for allegedly committing violence because the cellphone network was interrupted while playing the mobile legends game.

As a result of the abuse, the victim suffered bruises on both of his temples.

"The origin of the incident was when the victim and the suspect were inside his house. At that time the suspect was playing a game using the hotspot (network) of his wife," said Datuk Bandar Sector Police Chief, AKP Retman Sinaga, Wednesday, July 27.

However, when his wife was about to use her cellphone and enter the room, the network on the perpetrator's cellphone slowed down.

"So he felt emotional and there was a verbal argument that led to the suspect assaulting the victim by punching the victim's temple," he explained.

AKP Retman explained that as a result of the abuse, the victim had bruises on both of his temples. Furthermore, the victim reported the incident to the Datuk Bandar Sector Police.

The police who received the victim's report immediately launched an investigation and hunted down the perpetrator. Currently, the perpetrators have been detained at the Datuk Bandar Sector Police Headquarters to undergo the investigation process.

"For his actions, currently we apply the article 351 paragraph 1 with the threat of a sentence of 2 years and 8 months," he said.
