JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo gave the Mahaputera Star and Service Star honors to 71 figures. The awarding of this honor was held at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 11.

Bintang Mahaputera and Bintang Jasa are given to state officials or former state officials in the Work Cabinet for the 2014-2019 period. In addition, this award is also given to medical personnel and health workers who have died in carrying out their duties in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This honor mark was given through Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 118 and 119 / TK / 2020 dated November 6.

"Awarding Mahaputera Star and Service Star honors to those whose names of rank and position in the attachment of this decision as an award for their services in accordance with the provisions of special conditions in order to obtain the honors of the Mahaputera Star and Service Star as regulated by law," said Plh. Presidential Military Secretary Brigadier General Basuki Nugroho reads the Presidential Decree during an embedding ceremony broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat YouTube account, Wednesday, November 11.
