West Kalimantan PDI-P DPD Encourages Lasarus To Become A Candidate For Governor Of West Kalimantan

JAKARTA - Secretary of the West Kalimantan (Kalbar) PDI-P Regional Leadership Council (PDIP) Karolin Margret Natasa said the PDIP had decided to nominate Lasarus as a candidate for Governor of West Kalimantan in the 2024 Pilkada.

"For this reason, we ask all party cadres to consolidate and fully support the West Kalimantan PDI-P DPD chairman, Lasarus, to run for the West Kalimantan regional head election as a candidate for the governor of West Kalimantan," Karolin said in Ngabang, West Kalimantan, Tuesday, July 25.

Karolin reminded PDIP cadres from now on to consolidate and disseminate information to the public about the candidates promoted by PDIP.

"I remind all PDI-P cadres to close ranks, unite voices, and fully support the Chairman of our DPD advancing to become Governor of West Kalimantan. For that, do consolidation and socialization to the community," he said.

Karolin explained that as the winning party in West Kalimantan, PDI-P will carry Lasarus as a candidate for governor in the 2024 gubernatorial election.

"From the DPC throughout West Kalimantan, we have proposed the name of the Chairperson of our PDI-P to become a candidate for the Governor of West Kalimantan, and the results of the regional meeting also state that Lasarus is a candidate for governor from the PDI-P. We as the winning party have the right to carry Lasarus forward as a candidate for Governor of West Kalimantan," he added. .

Karolin, the Regent of Landak for the 2017-2022 period, explained that Lasarus was the right person to lead West Kalimantan with his experience in the DPR RI as Chairman of Commission V.

"Don't ask about his experience and network. Currently, Lasarus is the Chairman of Commission V of the DPR RI and there have been many developments in West Kalimantan, one of which is the construction of the international port in Kijing which is the result of the work of the PDI-P, namely the Chairman of the DPD PDI-P of West Kalimantan, Lasarus. ," he said.
