Brigadier General Prasetijo Called Kompol Jhony A Traitor!

JAKARTA - The defendant in a fake passport case, Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo, called Kompol Jhony Andrijanto a traitor. Brigadier General Prasetijo pinned this assumption based on Jhony's testimony in the trial which Prasetijo considered was a lie.

Testimonies deemed to be lies include the fear and threat of Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo. Prasetijo confirmed that he never issued a threat.

"If you feel that you are being threatened by me, why are you joining me? Why Jhon? Jhon replied, Don't be afraid," said Prasetijo in a trial at the East Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, November 10.

But Kompol Jhony did not answer. Brigadier General Prasetijo also conveyed to the panel of judges that many of the witnesses' statements were inconsistent.

"He (Kompol Jhony) often lies to Your Majesty. Many are not appropriate," said Brigadier General Prasetijo.

At the end of his statement, Prasetijo still thanked Jhony who gave his testimony. But Prasetijo uses the term traitor.

"Thank you Mr. Jhony, you have helped me, or in reverse I helped guide you at the PPNS bureau, thank you for being a traitor," he said.

Kompol Jhony Andrijanto is a subordinate of Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo in the Coordinating Bureau for Supervision of PPNS, Bareskrim Polri. Jhony officially became Prasetijo's subordinate about 2 weeks before the pass-through case appeared.

Kompol Jhony was also the person ordered by Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo to burn fake travel documents. In addition, he also accompanied Prasetijo to Pontianak to pick up Joko Tjandra.
