62nd Adhyaksa Service Day, Commission III Of The DPR Asks The Attorney General's Office To Create A Precision Concept Like The Police

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) commemorates the 62nd anniversary of Bhakti Adhyaksa today, Friday, July 22. Commission III of the DPR hopes that Adhyaksa Day will be a momentum for the Prosecutor's Office to establish itself as an authoritative legal institution.

"We at Commission III hope that the 62nd Adhyaksa Day will be a momentum to reaffirm the Prosecutor's Office as a law enforcement institution and a clean and authoritative public prosecutor," said DPR Commission III member Arsul Sani to reporters, Friday, July 22.

The member who sits on the legal committee acknowledged the improvement in the AGO's achievements on Adhyaksa Day this year. One of them, is the public's trust even beyond the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"It is undeniable that the Public Prosecution Service has made changes in itself through bureaucratic reforms that have been carried out for a long time and only in the last few years. on the KPK," explained Arsul.

Therefore, the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR asked the Attorney General's Office to also come up with legal concepts that the public can hold and understand. Like the concept of precision owned by the Police as a law enforcement institution.

"If the National Police has the concept of Precision, then the Prosecutor's Office needs to make such a concept, which will also become clear to the public as a measuring tool to see the progress of the Prosecutor's Office as a law enforcement agency and public prosecutor. Maybe a concept like Precision already exists in the Prosecutor's Office, only It hasn't been publicized yet," said Arsul.
