JAKARTA - The Panel of Judges of the Constitutional Court has decided to reject the lawsuit for judicial review of the Narcotics Law, one of which is about medical marijuana. In the case decision number 106/PUU-XVIII/2020, the Constitutional Court assessed that the material being tested was the authority of the DPR and the government. The Constitutional Court considered that it was not authorized to hear the material requested because it was part of the open policy of the DPR and the government. That is to examine whether it is true that marijuana can indeed be used for medical purposes. The decision was conveyed by the chairman of the Constitutional Court, Anwar Usman at the trial of the decision or decision at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia, Wednesday (20/7).
