Fisherman Finds Woman's Body Floating In Tangerang's Cimanceri River

TANGERANG - An unidentified female body was found floating in the Cimanceri River, Balaraja, Tangerang Regency, Tuesday, July 19, at 14.30 WIB.

Balaraja Police Chief Kompol Yudha Hermawan said the discovery originated from reports of residents who were fishing. At that time he saw a corpse floating in the river.

"Then call the witness to see and check the body. Next, the witness reports to the Balaraja Police," he said

After receiving the report, the police immediately went to the scene and evacuated the victim. He made sure there were no scars on the victim's body.

"While there were no injuries on the victim's body," he said

Now the victim has been taken to the Balaraja Hospital, Tangerang Regency, for a post-mortem.

"Furthermore, the body was immediately taken by an ambulance at the Balaraja Hospital for a post-mortem," he concluded.
