Eight Times Ex-President Of ACT Examined, This Is What Bareskrim Is Exploring

JAKARTA - The former president of the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) charity foundation, Ahyudin, was again questioned by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police for alleged misappropriation of funds. It was recorded that Ahyidin had been questioned eight times.

According to VOI monitoring, Ahyudin arrived at around 11.18 WIB. He was accompanied by several attorneys.

Not many statements were made. He suspects that the investigation material is still about the governance of the foundation.

"It's still about the governance of the institution. It will continue today. The eighth one," Ahyudin told reporters, Wednesday, July 20.

Confirmed separately, the Head of Sub-Directorate IV of the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Kombes Andri Sudarmaji, supervised the investigation of Ahyudin.

"The schedule for Ahyudin's ACT examination is at 11.00 WIB," said Andri.

Besides Ahyudin, investigators also scheduled an examination of Senior Vice President of Global Islamic Hariyana Hermain. He is scheduled for 13.00 WIB.

For information, the Police Criminal Investigation Unit is currently investigating allegations of misappropriation of funds by ACT Foundation management. The fraud occurred during the distribution of aid to the heirs of the victims of the Lion Air JT-610 plane crash that occurred in 2018.

The alleged deviation was said to have been made by former ACT President Ahyudin and ACT President Ibnu Khajar. They are suspected of using aid funds for personal gain.

The status of the handling of this case has been upgraded from investigation to investigation. That way, sooner or later a suspect will be identified.
