Acting Governor Of Aceh Asks Acting Regent To Manage Village Funds From Central Government: Turn On MSMEs, Reduce Poverty

BANDA ACEH - Acting Governor of Aceh Achmad Marzuki asked the acting regent to maximize the use of village funds that have been disbursed for each gampong/village by the central government.

“I ask that village funds disbursed by the central government every year can be managed properly by the Gampong government. You must be able to take steps to assist you," said Achmad Marzuki in Banda Aceh, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 18.

The statement was delivered on the sidelines of inaugurating the Acting. The Regent of Aceh Jaya, Nurdin and Pj. Pidie Regent, Wahyudi Adisiswanto in Anjong Mon Mata, Banda Aceh to fill the vacant leadership position.

The Acting Governor of Aceh explained that as a person who was given the mandate and responsibility, the newly appointed acting regent must be able to take steps for assistance and supervision so that the village funds are right on target.

"Hopefully the village funds distributed are right on target and beneficial for economic growth in each region," he said.

He also asked the acting regent to continue to prioritize programs for handling the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to carrying out post-pandemic economic recovery. The trick is to immediately spur through the acceleration of the realization of spending that is effective, efficient, on target, and beneficial to the community.

"Turn on the MSME sector, mainly through the use of domestic products and make efforts to reduce poverty," he said.

In addition, the Acting Governor of Aceh asked the acting regents to immediately build positive relationships and communication with all stakeholders in the region in accelerating development in their respective regions.

"I hope that all parties, including former regents and deputy regents, will support the acting regent to carry out development programs in each region they lead," he said.
