JAKARTA - The former Head of the International Relations Division (Kadiv Hubinter) of the National Police, Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte said that the incident at the Office of the Head of the Professional and Security Division (Kadiv Propam) of the National Police Inspector General Ferdy Sambo was a case that was easily concluded by ordinary investigators.

According to Napoleon, the shootout incident between members of the National Police did not require a special team to uncover it.

"It's an easy case to uncover. Ordinary investigators can reveal it. There's no need for a TGPF (joint fact-finding team) of all kinds," said Napoleon after his trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Antara, Thursday, July 15.

The two-star general said that the public had smelled something inappropriate in the incident.

"Let's be honest again, tell the truth. Why? Because nothing can be covered up properly. It will definitely be exposed," he said.

The defendant in the molestation case against YouTuber M. Kece argued that those who spoke publicly related to the deadly incident risked their integrity.

"If it is proven that what he said was blindly defending something that was covered up or something, one day it would return to the person concerned," said Napoleon firmly.

Previously, the National Police Chief formed a special team to complete the investigation into the shootout case between members of the National Police on Tuesday (12/7).

In addition to involving the internal and external work units of the National Police, the team also involved the Provost and Internal Security (Paminal) of the Police. Meanwhile, the external elements are the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) and the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM).

Involvement of external elements of the National Police to ensure that the Timsus measures are transparent, objective and accountable.

Timsus works by prioritizing scientific crime investigation so that the conclusions of the results of the investigation and investigation are complete and open to the public.

The shooting between members of the Police took place at the house of Inspector General Pol. Ferdy Sambo, Duren Tiga Police Complex No. 46, Pancoran, South Jakarta, last Friday, July 8 at around 17.00 WIB.

The two members are Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat (Brigadir J) Adjutant Drive Caraka (ADV) Wife of the Police Propam Division Head and Bharada E, ADV Head of the National Police Propam Division. The incident resulted in Brigadier Nopryansah being shot dead with seven bullet holes in his body.

It was stated that the incident was motivated by allegations of harassment and pointing a gun by the wife of the Head of the National Police Propam Division, Putri Ferdy Sambo.
