Stolen Bicycle Holder At TNI AD Dormitory Arrested

JAKARTA - The Lengkong Polrestabes Bandung Police revealed a stolen bicycle holder in the local area. This disclosure was made after a bicycle theft case occurred at the Indonesian Army Dormitory in Lengkong District, Bandung.

The Head of Lengkong Police, Commissioner Kusna Djefridja said that there were three suspects who were now detained by the police with the initials MIS, BA and CIR. According to him, they had stolen bicycles 12 times.

"The chronology of the disclosure begins with reports of members of the TNI who have arrested one perpetrator (MIS) who previously committed theft of a mountain bike," he said, quoted by Antara, Bandung, Friday, September 6.

With the arrest of MIS, the police then investigated with TNI members by investigating CCTV footage of the bicycle theft case on November 1, 2020.

From the investigation, the police finally arrested a person with the initials BA. Kusna said, BA claimed to have carried out the action six times in the Lengkong area.

"They admit to selling the bikes to the collectors online, the price is around Rp1 million. Then we will investigate again to find the containers," he said.

Not ending there, the police carried out further developments by arresting a stolen bicycle holder with the initials CIR in the Kopo area. Kusna said CIR was arrested with evidence of a blue mountain bike.

"They purely have a motive to get money from the theft," he said.
