Police Investigate OTK For Intimidation Of Journalists At The Home Of The Head Of The Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo

JAKARTA - The National Police has confirmed that they will investigate the perpetrators who intimidated two journalists while on duty at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. The form of intimidation is in the form of forcibly deleting journalistic works.

"Investigations by the Southern Police," said Head of the Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, told reporters on Thursday, July 14.

Dedi also advised the two journalists who were victims of intimidation to report immediately. Thus, the starting point of the problem will be clearer.

"Just make a report to (Polres, ed) South Jakarta so that it is clear, all," said Dedi.

However, Dedi refused to comment on the alleged perpetrator of the intimidation being a member of the National Police. The reason is that there is currently no solid evidence.

"Don't assume if it's not clear," said Dedi.

For information, two national journalists became victims of intimidation by three unknown people, on Thursday, July 14. Forms of intimidation by forcibly deleting photos and videos that are the result of journalistic work.
