Roy Suryo Examined By Police For Stupa Meme Case Similar To Jokowi, Lawyer Ade Armando: Hospital Is Very Worth Deciding To Be TSK

JAKARTA - The Executive Director of the Legal Mafia Eradication Committee, Muannas Alaidid, assessed that former Minister of Youth and Sports Roy Suryo deserved to be named a suspect in the case of uploading the Borobudur Temple stupa meme that resembles President Jokowi's face.

This was said by Muanas through his Twitter account @muannas_alaidid on Thursday 14 July.

"For me, in this case, [Roy Suryo's] hospital deserves a TSK [suspect]," said Muanas.

Muanas, who is also Ade Armando's attorney in the case of the beating in front of the DPR Building, said Roy Suryo as a telematics expert should have acted more wisely.

However, continued Muanas, the former Democrat Party cadre deliberately uploaded an image of the Borobudur Temple stupa that had been edited to resemble President Jokowi's face.

The Muanas assessment was in response to the investigation conducted by the Polda Metro Jaya on Roy Suryo on Thursday, July 14 morning. He is being investigated as a suspect in the case of the Borobudur Temple stupa meme that looks like President Jokowi.

Roy Suryo has been reported in two case reports of memes of the Borobudur Temple stupa that resembles President Jokowi's face.

The two reports were handled by Polda Metro Jaya. The first report numbered LP B/3042/VI/2022/SPKT/ dated June 20, 2022. With the reporter named Kurniawan Santoso.

Furthermore, the second report on behalf of Kevin Wu. The report was numbered LP/B/0293/VI/2022/, previously handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police and then transferred to the Polda Metro Jaya.
