NTB - The Central Lombok Regency Government stated that so far there is no branch office of the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) foundation in its area.

"There are no ACT administrators in Central Lombok, only in Mataram," said Head of the Social Service of Central Lombok Regency, Muliardi Yunus, in Praya, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, quoted from Antara, Thursday, July 14.

Although there is no ACT branch in the area, Muliardi said that ACT's operations are in Mataram as far as Central Lombok.

He does not know the amount of donations collected so far because he has never been reported to the Social Service.

"The operational area reaches the Central Lombok region," he added.

With the decision from the central government that has revoked the ACT foundation's license due to allegations of misappropriation of community donations, it appealed to the public not to provide facilities or donations in any form to ACT, especially in the Central Lombok area.

"We urge residents not to donate because ACT's permit has been revoked," he said.

To note, ACT has a Money and Goods Collection (PUB) permit from the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs Number 239/HUK-UND/2020 for the general category and Momor 241/HUK-UND/2020 for the Disaster category. The permit is renewed every three months in accordance with the provisions in force in Indonesia.

The Ministry of Social Affairs has revoked the PUB permit, due to allegations of misappropriation of donations collected from the public.

Based on the provisions of Article 6 paragraph (1) of Government Regulation Number 29 of 1980 concerning the Implementation of Collection of Donations, it reads that the financing of efforts to collect donations is a maximum of 10 percent of the results of the collection of donations concerned.

Meanwhile, from the results of the clarification, ACT President Ibn Khajar said, using an average of 13.7 percent of the funds collected from the collection of money or goods from the public as operational funds for the foundation.
