JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) reported that as many as 157 prospective pilgrims from Indonesia were sick ahead of the peak of the Hajj implementation in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) which fell on Friday, July 8.

"The congregation of prospective pilgrims who are sick are 157 people consisting of 139 being treated at the Indonesian Hajj health clinic and 18 people being treated at the Saudi Arabian Hospital," said Plh. Head of the HDI Bureau of the Ministry of Religion Wawan Djunaedi at a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday 7 July.

Meanwhile, the number of pilgrims who died increased by two people. Thus, the pilgrims who died before the peak of the Hajj implementation became 24 people. The government will accommodate the prospective Indonesian pilgrims who died before the peak of Armuzna.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Hajj Health Office (KKHI) of the Meccan Working Area recorded that as many as 182 prospective Hajj candidates would undergo a wurkuf safari.

The planned congregation will undergo a wusuf safari and will be withdrawn from the group to KKHI two days before wusuf in Arafah. Then on Friday when the wusuf will be dispatched together to Arafah by bus.

The congregation that was packaged was due to its health condition that it was not possible to self-reliance or throw a jumrah.

Meanwhile, Indonesian pilgrims began arriving in Padang Arafah in the east of the city of Mecca on Thursday morning Saudi Arabia to carry out wurkuf on 9 Zulhijah.

Hajj officers, especially from the work area (Daker) of Airport, also began to depart for Arafah to prepare and ensure that the service for the peak of the hajj went well.

The Meccan Daker officer who will become the Muzdalifah task force shifted on 8 Zulhijah (July 7) to Arafah for wuf on 9 Zulhijah (July), then at around 17.00 Saudi Arabian Time (WAS) moved to Muzdalifah to serve in Muzdalifah.

Meanwhile, officers from Daker Madinah who work in Mina will also move on 8 Zulhijah in the afternoon. Then carry out wurkuf in Arafah on 9 Zulhijah and shift together with Meccan daker officers to serve in Mina for 4 days starting from 10 to 13 Zulhijah to anticipate pilgrims taking tsani nafar.
