No More Students Die Because Of Bullying

JAKARTA - Suicide is often seen as a shortcut to solve problems. It's just that, that action is clearly not a way out of the problem being experienced.

One example is the action of a teenager with the initials SN (14) who ended his life by jumping from the fourth floor of his school at SMP Negeri 147, Ciracas, East Jakarta.

I don't know what was the reason the teenager ended his life. It's just that, based on posts on social media twitter, many think that their reckless action is because they often become victims of bullying or bullying.

The bullying experienced by SN was said to be done by some of his school friends. Both verbally and in paintings, SN is often the victim of bullying.

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Hery Purnomo, said that his party could not confirm the motive behind the teenager's reckless action. Even though he has asked for information from a number of witnesses regarding the incident.

"We have asked for information from the school, some of the concerned colleagues, and their parents. But there is not one single statement that points to the allegation (the victim of bullying)," said Hery to VOI, Saturday, January 18.

Alleged bullying first appeared on social media. SN's last post is the reason netizens think that the girl is desperate to end her life because she is a victim of bullying.

The police are still investigating the motive for the suicide. His party will also explore the role of the school, family and friends of the victim in connection with the alleged bullying.

"We are in fact questioning their motive until we can say the allegation (bullying). Because we are looking for facts with existing evidence, and so far nothing has led to the allegation," said Hary.

Based on the results of the crime scene (TKP), it was found that SN jumped from the third floor of his school. The victim climbed into a chair before ending his life.

"We did the TKP at SMPN 147 Ciracas, where we saw that there was indeed a bench that the person used to climb onto the wall," he explained.

"From the results of our investigation, we can confirm that this victim had the intention of committing suicide like that," he continued.
