JAKARTA - The National Police Chief General of Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo advised the cadets and cadets not to complain but to continue to achieve achievements for the country, institutions and themselves. He also reminded that the cadets and cadets of the National Police must be ready to be placed anywhere in order to realize Indonesia's development which is not only centered in one region but is Indonesia centric.

"Looking for the most difficult place because there you will find pearls. You get experience that maybe not everyone gets and that can be a foundation for you," said Sigit in a written statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Saturday, July 2.

According to the four-star general, wherever you are assigned, you will have the mental and spirit of leadership as the capital of a future National Police leader.

Police cadets and cadets are also reminded to always instill in their hearts loyalty to the state or Satya Haprabu. In this case, the police are ready to oversee all policies carried out for the betterment of the people, nation and state of Indonesia.

"I am proud that you can do that. I am proud if you can answer firmly 'I am a child of the country, and ready to be placed anywhere'. So you are ready to become a potential leader in the future," said Sigit.

Sigit also advised the cadets of the Police Academy to continue to make achievements. Bearing in mind that the National Police are currently providing equal opportunities for Polwan in carrying out their duties, as is the spirit of gender equality in Polri institutions.

He said many policewomen had the rank of general, all cadets were also given the opportunity to become regional unit heads or police chiefs, police chiefs, and even at one time the regional police chief.

However, this all, said Sigit, depends on how the cadets can find their potential. Because there are advantages of policewomen who are expected to carry out special tasks related to violence against women and children, a position that requires a humanist touch.

"Certainly, female female police officers have more abilities than men. So continue to develop your abilities because you have the same opportunities for careers and achievements," said Sigit.

This message was conveyed by Sigit at the closing ceremony of the 53rd Police Academy cadets Arkana Satriadharma education in Semarang, Central Java, Friday, July 1. Those who passed this year were 246 people, consisting of 215 cadets and 31 cadets.

In his speech, Sigit said, for those who won awards and achievements, in the future they must be maintained and sharpen themselves to be even better. On the other hand, for those who have not had the opportunity, achievements will be carved when they have served as soldiers of the Bhayangkara Corps.

"I hope that the next best achievement can be carved wherever you are on duty, as long as you carry out your service," concluded Sigit.

Previously, the National Police would establish a police station and a police station in the State Capital (IKN) of East Kalimantan, and the National Police personnel would gradually relocate in 2024.

In addition, the National Police also plans to establish three new regional police (polda) after the DPR ratifies three Draft Laws (RUU) related to the New Province of Papua or the New Autonomous Region (DOB) into law, Thursday, June 30.
