Ahmad Sahroni Reports Adam Deni To The Criminal Investigation Unit After The Accusation Of Conditioning The Case For IDR 30 Billion

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Ahmad Sahroni reported social media activist, Adam Deni, to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The report concerns allegations of defamation.

Ahmad Sahroni's report was proven by the receipt of a police report receipt which he uploaded on the @ahmadsahroni88 Instagram account.

The report is registered with the number LP/B/0336/VI/2022/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri, dated June 30.

In the upload, Ahmad Sahroni said the reason behind the report was because there were accusations that he had silenced the parties who handled the Adam Deni case at a cost of Rp. 30 billion.

"As of today I report a human who accused me of silencing related parties with an amount worth 30 billion just to silence him," wrote Ahmad Sahroni, quoted by VOI, Friday, July 1.

In fact, Ahmad Sahroni also wrote a narration that seemed to say that Adam Deni was not aware that his statement had legal consequences.

"You say what you're saying, but you don't realize that your words can cause you to get into further legal trouble," said Sahroni.

Confirmed regarding the report, Ahmad Sahroni's attorney, Arman Hanis confirmed it. Reporting is done on June 30, around 22.00 WIB.

"That's true (for reporting, ed)," said Arman.

Meanwhile, Adam Deni who was sentenced to 4 years in prison in the ITE violation case suspected that there were irregularities in his case. In fact, it is said that the punishment has been arranged.

In addition, Adam Deni also mentioned that someone with the initials AS, who was strongly suspected of Ahmad Sahroni, had spent more than Rp. 30 billion to silence him.

"I think about it, the price for Adam Deni being detained is very expensive, it could be more than Rp. 30 billion," said Adam Deni.

"My arrest was fast, my handling was fast, my P21 was fast, my demands were also high. How many tens of billions of US brothers have been used to silence me?" he continued.
