DUBAI - Starting a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto took the time to visit Zayed Military University in Abu Dhabi.
During the visit, Wednesday, June 29, Prabowo was welcomed by the Assistant Undersecretary for Support and Defense Industries of the UAE Ministry of Defense, Major General Mubarak Saeed Ghafan Al Jabri.
At the university, Prabowo toured campus facilities and classrooms to see the ongoing teaching and learning activities.

Zayed Military University is a university that was just established in early 2021 to train UAE youths to play a role in the military and state security with physical and mental training. The university offers a Bachelor of Science in Defense and Security, with the program starting in January 2022.
The university's curriculum touches on military and security skills, while also familiarizing students with theory relevant to the sector. Courses within the university are designed in collaboration with Rabdan Academy. Those who graduate will then undergo an additional year of training in their chosen service area prior to serving.
