JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will conduct an integrity assessment survey (SPI) in 2022 which will be carried out simultaneously on 98 ministries/agencies, 34 provincial governments, and 508 district/city governments throughout Indonesia.

"The survey will start on July 1 and end on September 30, 2022," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Prevention Ipi Maryati Kuding as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 29.

In SPI 2022, the KPK will distribute questionnaires to 2.5 million people, including employees of the ministries/agencies/regional governments being measured, service users and experts. It is hoped that as many as 375,000 respondents will fill out and return the questionnaire to the KPK.

"For the questionnaire blasting process, the KPK uses two methods, namely online via email and WhatsApp services and offline through face-to-face surveys in several sampling areas. The informants who received the questionnaires were representatives of 7,777,891 populations in various ministries. /institutions/local government," he said.

The next stage, said Ipi, is the data processing which will be carried out until November 4, 2022. The process includes "cleaning" data, "coding" data, and processing data with SPSS. In addition, at that stage discussions were also held with experts to analyze the survey findings and prepare national presentation materials.

Then until November 18, 2022, the KPK plans to start the process of reporting the survey results or "reporting" on the JAGA.id page.

"If the survey results have been compiled, the KPK will disseminate the results of the research which will be held until December 2, 2022. This stage is marked by the preparation of survey results to each ministry/institution/local government along with recommendations that must be made," said Ipi.

There are also areas that will be measured in the 2022 SPI, namely the procurement of goods and services, integrity in carrying out tasks, budget management, transparency, influence trading, human resource management, and anti-corruption socialization in each ministry/institution/local government.

Ipi explained that from the 2022 SPI measurement, the government is targeting a national integrity index score of 72, an increase of 2 points from last year's target of 70, as proclaimed in the 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).

"This year's SPI has also made improvements from last year's measurements where the assessment will be carried out per directorate general (directorate general) which is classified as large in its duties and authorities, not only per ministry/institution," he said.

In addition, the recommendations given will also be more detailed and concrete based on the SPI scores achieved and the gaps in corruption that occur.

"Thus, SPI can effectively map the risk of corruption, assess budget management, and improve the corruption prevention system carried out by each ministry/institution/regional government," said Ipi.
