Strictly Competing, Bulungan Regency Is The General Champion Of MTQ Kaltara 2022

TANJUNG SELOR – After a tight competition, Bulungan Regency finally became the overall winner of the VII Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) at the Provincial Level of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) in 2022. The oldest district in this youngest province won 94 points, followed by Tarakan City with 89 points. Then Malinau with 76 points, Nunukan with 62 points and Tana Tidung Regency with 21 points. The MTQ which was held from 22 to 25 June 2022 was attended by 5 caravans from all regencies/cities in North Kalimantan, with a total of 232 participants. When closing the event, the Assistant for Economics and Development of the Setprov Kaltara, Dr. Bustan requested that the Kaltara Tilawatil Quran Training Institute (LPTQ) be prepared to welcome the 19th National MTQ in South Kalimantan in October. the VII Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) activity at the North Kalimantan Province level. We must be grateful because with the blessing of Allah SWT this activity ran safely and smoothly from beginning to end and hopefully it will bring blessings to all of us," he said reading the speech of the Governor of Kaltara, Drs. H Zainal A Paliwang SH, M. Hum. He expressed his deepest gratitude to all parties who have succeeded and supported the smooth implementation of this activity. "Hopefully we can create a generation of Quran that is good at reading, studying, understanding and practicing the Koran in everyday life. As well as strengthening the symbols of Islam and friendship towards the togetherness of the people," he concluded. At the end of the closing of the event, a decision letter from the LPTQ Kaltara management was read out which appointed the City of Tarakan as the host for the implementation of the VIII MTQ at the North Kalimantan Province in 2023.
