Special Operations Unit Formed To Serve Pilgrims During The Peak Of Hajj

MEKKAH - The Ministry of Religion has formed a special operation unit (Satop) to provide services to pilgrims facing the peak of the Hajj season for Arafah Muzdalifah and Mina (Armuzna). Head of the Saudi Arabia Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH), Arsad Hidayat in Makkah, Sunday, June 26. Satop consists of officers who previously worked in work areas (Daker) both Makkah, Madinah and the airport. The airport, then the task force at Muzdalifah will be filled with Daker Makkah and Mina will be filled with Daker Madinah. In addition there will also be a monitoring team that will oversee the entire process of movement of pilgrims during the implementation of Armuzna. Armuzna's mobilization will begin on 8 Zulhijjah 1443 H in the morning or 7 July 2022. Arsad said that in the past, congregational mobilization usually started at 07.00 am to 24.00 pm, with the current number of worshipers having reduced by half, it is estimated to be finished at 17.00 pm Saudi Arabian time On 9 Zulhijjah to coincide with 8 July 2022, the congregation will perform a series of wukuf worship in Arafah, starting from the time of Zuhur. Next, the congregation will be mobilized to Muzdalifah. "After Maghrib, we will start pushing the congregation into Muzdalifah. Hopefully it will be finished before midnight. Usually the movement to Muzdalifah is until 01.00-02.00 in the morning," he added, quoted by Antara.

Arsyad, who is also the Director of Hajj Bina for the Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah Implementation (PHU) at the Ministry of Religion, said the Hajj officers would guard and encourage pilgrims already in Muzdalifah to immediately take stones and shift to Mina. immediately rushed to Mina to throw the jumrah aqabah. "Usually the process of mobilizing pilgrims to Mina is until morning," he said. For the mobilization of pilgrims during Armuzna, PPIH has communicated and entered into a contract with the Saudi Arabian Organda. "For transportation, we contract with Naqabah ( Naqabah lis-Sayyarat) Organda Saudi Arabia who was given the authority to transport pilgrims from the hotel to Arafah-Muzdalifah-Mina and back to the hotel," said Arsad.
