JAKARTA - 15 residents of West Nusa Tenggara have the opportunity to work as health workers through the G to G scheme to Germany Batch II in 2022.

"The 15 people from NTB are part of 514 applicants from all over Indonesia who applied online," said Head of the Technical Implementation Unit of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (UPT BP2MI) NTB Abri Danar Prabawa, in Mataram, Saturday, June 25. .

The placement scheme through the German G to G program is one of the flagship programs of BP2MI besides Japan in the health sector and Korea in the manufacturing sector.

Based on the announcement from the website bp2mi.go.id, registration for the G to G scheme to Germany Batch II was closed on June 15, 2022.

A total of 514 people submitted applications online, consisting of 190 male candidates and 324 female candidates. This number increased compared to the previous year as many as 405 applicants.

According to Abri Danar, job opportunities in Germany are very promising with requirements that do not require having a language certificate. This is an important point for alumni of health schools, especially nursing graduates who are interested in working abroad.

It can also be an alternative for health workers with the status of non-civil servant government employees who will be transferred to government employees with a work agreement (PPPK).

The PPPK acceptance will go through a selection process and a limited quota so that it is hoped that the German G to G program can be an option if you don't pass the PPPK selection.

According to a predetermined schedule, 15 candidates from NTB who have registered for the G to G program to Germany Batch II have verified documents on June 22, 2022.

"We have informed all participants to come to the UPT BP2MI NTB office with the original required documents," said Abri Danar.

He said the placement program through the G to G scheme, especially in Germany, would be opened every year and the quota would be increased so that the opportunities would be even greater.
