SURABAYA - Surabaya residents don't have to bother applying for jobs to companies or the world of work industry. Simply open the website via https://disnaker.surabaya.go.id/assik to look for job vacancies.

Mayor of Surabaya Eri Cahyadi said that through the application based on the ASSIK Link and Match website, companies or work industries claimed that it was easier to find prospective workers in the city of Surabaya. This is because applicants do not need to carry various kinds of files, they only need to fill in their personal data and choose available job vacancies.

"This makes it easier, because prospective applicants only need to fill in data through the application. Companies and the work industry can directly see the personal data and skills possessed by prospective applicants," said Eri Cahyadi in Surabaya, Friday, June 24.

In addition to making it easier for people to access the world of work in the City of Heroes, Eri Cahyadi explained that companies or work industries prioritize residents with Surabaya City ID cards. This is where the role of the Surabaya City Government together with stakeholders, by working together to eradicate unemployment and poverty.

"We are struggling to solve unemployment is by working together. And this is shown by companies operating in Surabaya, by taking workers from Surabaya," he said.

On the other hand, Eri Cahyadi also thanked investors, companies or work industries in the City of Surabaya, who had opened various job vacancies for the people of the City of Heroes. Thus, he believes that every incoming investment can affect the lives of local residents, especially to improve the quality of life of the people of Surabaya.

"I am very grateful (thank you very much) for the investors and companies that enter the city of Surabaya. So, the opportunity for the Suroboyo people to work and be part of development can be realized," he said.

Eri Cahyadi hopes that in the future the company's investors in the city of Surabaya can continue to open up job opportunities for the Suroboyo area. "Thank God, this has been realized, because the investors themselves say that the Suroboyo arek is good. They respond immediately and quickly complete the job well," he said.

For City of Heroes residents who want to become entrepreneurs, they can also communicate directly with the Camat, Lurah, and the Surabaya City Manpower Office. "We will synergize it with assets belonging to the Surabaya City Government, to absorb labor in the surrounding area. We will echo it through a labor-intensive program," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Surabaya City Industry and Manpower Office (Disnaker) Achmad Zaini said job seekers could use ASSIK Link and Match as a bridge or liaison with various companies. Job seekers get the opportunity to enter the world of work more easily.

"In today's Link and Match program, there are 57 companies that have joined and there are 1,436 job vacancies that are ready to be applied by the public. Today, around 6,000 job applicants are registered to join this program," said Zaini, her nickname.

Through this application, many companies claim to need skilled, reliable, and competent workers, especially residents with Surabaya City ID cards. He hopes that the people of the City of Heroes can seize various job opportunities to be part of development.

"All of these job opportunities are for Surabaya residents, they can directly register by filling in their personal data through the application and selecting the available job vacancies," he said.
