JAKARTA - Japanese police are conducting a search for a police dog who disappeared during a police operation. The search was massive, involving 41 police officers.

Kureba-go, which is about 120 cm long, was found with a rope wrapped around a tree. The officers tried to calm Kureba-go by giving him a piece of bread and fish sausage. The reason why Kureba-go fled is unknown, police said.
