Hold A Meeting With PKS Tomorrow Afternoon, NasDem: Alon-Alon From The Play

JAKARTA - The chairman of the NasDem Party DPP Willy Aditya confirmed that his party will receive a visit from PKS at the NasDem DPP Office, Gondangdia, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 22. The arrival of PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu and his staff will be received directly by the General Chairperson of Surya Paloh.

Previously, Willy had only signaled that one party would visit the NasDem headquarters after the closing of the National Working Meeting last week. He did not call the party PKS.

"Tomorrow, God willing, at 13.00 WIB in Gondangdia. Mr. Surya will receive the PKS directly," said Willy at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 21.

Asked about the possibility of a coalition with PKS, Willy said, NasDem is open to all political parties. According to him, the exploration of the coalition, including the PKS, is carried out slowly, which is important.

"We are open to all who want to come to visit. Slowly from a joke," he concluded.

Previously, Deputy Chairman of the PKS Syuro Council Sohibul Iman revealed that his party would hold a meeting with the NasDem Party on Wednesday, June 22, tomorrow. Sohibul said that the arrival of PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu and his staff would be welcomed directly by the General Chairperson of NasDem, Surya Paloh.

"God willing, we will meet with the NasDem leadership, we have already communicated with Willy's brother who is already there. Mr. Surya Paloh will later be greeted on Wednesday afternoon," said Sohibul on the sidelines of the PKS National Meeting, Jakarta, Monday, June 20.

Although the discussion at the meeting discussed the 2019 presidential election, Sohibul said, PKS did not immediately declare itself to be in a coalition with NasDem. Because he said, PKS would first align its vision and mission with the party created by Surya Paloh before being discussed in the syuro assembly.

"I think our discussion on Wednesday, of course, will not go straight to cas plong, yes we are in a coalition. I said at PKS it was the determination of the coalition with whom, who brought who was the syuro assembly. Therefore, this is a political communication process to be able to equalize , a kind of sound check, equalizing perception, frequency," explained Sohibul.

"That (meeting) became our input in the syuro assembly. If it turns out that the result of the syuro assembly that communication with Nasdem, with all its substance, turns out to be conducive, we may decide to then form a coalition with NasDem," he added.
