JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta diverted several routes due to road closures in connection with a demonstration against the Job Creation Law which was held in the National Monument area and its surroundings today.
"Several Transjakarta service modifications will be subject to route service modifications, in connection with the demonstration activities which are planned to take place today around the Horse Statue, Monas, Central Jakarta and its surroundings," said Operations Director of PT Jakarta Transportation (Transjakarta) Prasetia Budi in his statement, Wednesday, 28 October.
There are five corridors that have been rerouted. Prasetya said that operations on other routes were still running normally. Service will return to normal when conditions are conducive and can be crossed by bus fleets.
"Transjakarta is working with the Polda Metro Jaya to ensure the safety of both customers, field officers and the continuity of Transjakarta operations today," he said.

- Corridor 1 (Blok M - City)
Has been diverted and temporarily does not pass through Monas and Bank Indonesia bus stops for both directions.
- Corridor 2 (Harmoni - Pulogadung)

- Corridor 3 (Kalideres - Pasar Baru)

- Route 5C (PGC 1 - Harmoni)
