Polri Finds New Information About Fire At The AGO

JAKARTA - Investigators at the General Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri received new information regarding the fire case in the building of the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

Based on the results of the investigation by the suspect, the Director of PT APM, R, the name of the company was borrowed by someone else.

"PT APM, as a cleaning service company, borrowed its flag by 2 people with the initials MAI and SW," said the Director of the Criminal Action Directorate of the National Police, Brigadier General Ferdy Sambo, to reporters, Wednesday, October 28.

The investigator will explore this information by scheduling the examination of the two people.

"Both will be examined by investigators on Tuesday, November 3," he said.

PT APM is a company that is said to have collaborated with the PPK Kejagung regarding the procurement of Top Cleaner cleaning fluids. This liquid is said to be the cause of the fire that burned the building getting bigger.

In this fire case, the National Police named 8 suspects. 5 of them are construction workers with the initials T, H, S, K, and IS. They were named suspects for violating the no smoking rule in the personnel bureau hall.

While the other 3 namely, UAM as the foreman, R who is the Director of PT ARM and the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Attorney General's Office, NH.

The determination of the suspect against UAM was reasoned because they did not supervise the five craftsmen while they were working. Meanwhile, R and NH were named suspects for making an agreement to use a dash cleaner cleaning fluid which is said to accelerate the combustion process.

The suspects were charged under Article 188 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code with the threat of 5 years in prison.
