Just Dumped By The Mother During Childbirth, The Baby Boy In Sukabumi Was Successfully Rescued By The Courier

BOGOR - A parcel delivery courier managed to save the life of a baby who was found wrapped in black plastic in Sukabumi Regency, West Java on Monday, June 20.

"We received reports from residents that a baby boy was found in the jurisdiction of the Sukabumi Police and immediately went to the location to take him to the Sukabumi Public Health Center and was then referred to the R Syamsudin SH Hospital in Sukabumi City for further treatment," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKP Enita. Dwi Cahyawaty in Sukabumi reported by Antara.

According to information gathered from the police, the discovery of the baby started when a courier who was delivering a package saw a black plastic moving around, out of curiosity the courier opened the plastic.

What a surprise when he opened it, it turned out that in the black plastic there was a baby boy who was still complete with his umbilical cord.

The courier immediately evacuated him and reported his findings to the local village government apparatus, who continued his report to the Sukabumi Police.

According to Ernita, it was suspected that the baby had just been born by its mother because the umbilical cord was still there. However, his party is still investigating who threw the baby away, but it is strongly suspected that the person who threw him away was the closest person (his parents).

"Alhamdulillah, the baby is currently in good health and is still in intensive care from the medical team at the R Syamsudin SH Hospital. We are also continuing to develop this case to find out who the perpetrators were who threw the baby away," he added.

Enita said that in order to uncover this case, his party has coordinated with the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Sukabumi City Police and it is hoped that the perpetrators will be arrested soon.
