JAKARTA - AH (25), a former security guard at a contractor company led the theft at his place of work. Suspect AH invited two colleagues with the initials SK and IK to carry out the theft at a shophouse owned by PT Mega Teknologi Investama, Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Makasar District, East Jakarta.

AH's crime was motivated by hurt because as long as he worked in the office, the results of his hard work were not paid. Yes, AH admitted that while working, he did not get a salary.

"Because they were not paid, security took the goods. This is a confession from the suspect," said Makasar Police Chief Kompol Zaini to VOI, Monday, June 20.

The mode of theft by the former security guard was when the office was being renovated.

"According to the victim's confession, the building was being renovated so that the theft occurred in the office. The perpetrators were three people with the initials AH, SM and IK (DPO). AH and SM have been secured, while IK is still searching," he explained.

As a result of the theft incident, the victim claimed to have suffered a loss of up to Rp. 2 billion. The embittered AH perpetrator stole a number of items from the shop using a pickup.

"From the items taken by the perpetrators in the form of air conditioners, sofas, desks and office chairs. The evidence is that there are indoor and outdoor air conditioners as well as several safes. The perpetrators sell rarely through Facebook," he said.

Meanwhile, from the proceeds of the crime of theft, the perpetrators use the money to splurge.

"The money is used for extravagance. The two perpetrators are charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code, which carries a 6-year sentence. While one person is still on the DPO," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a group of specialist thieves managed to break into the contractor service office of PT Mega Teknologi Investama on Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Pinang Ranti, Makasar, East Jakarta, with a total loss of Rp. 2 billion.

Anto, the parking attendant, said that the perpetrators were three men. The perpetrators managed to steal all assets when the office was closed.

"The main thing is that they transport all the goods in the office using a pickup truck, they go back and forth twice to bring the goods," Anto told reporters, Wednesday, June 15.

In the action, the perpetrator collaborated with office security officers who had double keys to open the door and transferred all assets to a pickup truck.

The assets taken include a number of computers, keyboards, laptops, printers, air conditioners, telephones, cellphones, computer desks, tables and chairs, safes containing company documents.
