COVID-19 Update As Of June 19: New Cases 1,167, Cure 632

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. The cumulative total of cases stands at 6,068,075 since the first cases were announced on March 2. Meanwhile, new cases per day reached 1,167 people.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 632 people, bringing the total to 5,902,794 people recovered. Meanwhile, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 3 people and a total to 156,687 people.

Meanwhile, the province with the newest cases was DKI Jakarta with 735 new cases and a total of 1,257,964 cases. Consists of 686 local transmissions and 49 foreign travelers (PPLN).

Followed by West Java with 162 new cases and a total of 1,108,639 cases. It consists of 162 local transmissions and 0 PPLN.

Then, Banten with 134 new cases and a total of 294,684 cases. Consists of local transmission 134 and 0 PPLN.

Next is East Java with 70 new cases and a total of 577,100 cases. Consists of local transmission 70 and 0 PPLN.

Then, Bali with 27 new cases, and a total of 158,084 cases were recorded. Consists of 23 and 4 PPLN local transmissions.

Then, Central Java with 17 new cases and a total of 627,890 cases. Consists of local transmission 17 and 0 PPLN.

The province with the most recovered cases today is DKI Jakarta with an increase of 275 cases. Then, followed by Banten with 204 cases recovered. Then, West Java with an additional 60 cases, and East Java with 54 cases recovered.

"There is one recorded death case in three provinces, namely DKI Jakarta, Banten, and Central Java", according to data from the Ministry of Health, Sunday, June 19.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined per day is 51,051. Meanwhile, cumulatively it reached 99,984,153. As for the details, 41,152,530 were examined by RT-PCR, 293,327 by the TMC method, and 58,538,296 antigens were examined.

"For the number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 2,296 people", it said.

Then, the weekly positivity rate for people from 12 to 18 June 2022 is 2.04 percent. While the daily positivity rate is 3.61 percent.

Currently, the number of people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has increased by 14,389 and the total has reached 201,145,493 people, and the second dose of vaccination has increased by 18,668, the cumulative total reaching 165,447,738. Then the third dose of vaccination was increased by 67,261 and the total reached 48,911,774. Meanwhile, the vaccination target reached 208,265,720 people.
