East Jakarta Police Ready To Take Security During Mount Antang Localization Control

JAKARTA - East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono asserted that his party is ready to provide security if enforcement is carried out at the Gunung Antang localization, East Jakarta.

"What is certain is that we are ready, if there is an order, it is indeed our duty to provide security," said Kombes Budi when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, June 17.

However, his party is also waiting for information regarding an invitation from PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) to the East Jakarta City Government to hold a technical coordination meeting.

"We are waiting now, yesterday we and the mayor asked PT KAI directly, which came from Daop 1 if I'm not mistaken, to immediately apply for control of its territory," he said.

The police chief explained that if his party had received a letter from PT KAI, a technical meeting for the demolition of the Gunung Antang localization would be held immediately.

"If there is a letter, we will return to a technical meeting to carry out the order," he explained.

Previously, the East Jakarta City Government (Pemkot) was also still waiting for an invitation from PT KAI as the land owner to hold a technical coordination meeting related to controlling the localization of Mount Antang, East Jakarta.

It is known, the Gunung Antang localization stands on the edge of the railroad that connects Jatinegara Station and Manggarai Station.

The existence of the Gunung Antang prostitution localization is also located next to the Matraman Shelter Station which was just inaugurated by PT KAI on Sunday, June 17.
