Who Are Elementary School Students In Pangkalpinang, Vice President: Anyone Want To Be President?

PANGKAL PINANG - Vice President (Wapres) Ma'ruf Amin exercising in the morning in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands, Wednesday 15 June. On the sidelines of his activities, the Vice President greeted the local SDN 10 students.

"All my children are well?" said the Vice President, in a written statement, Wednesday 15 June

The vice president on that occasion asked about the aspirations of the students when they grow up.

"Now you are in elementary school, after elementary school, junior high, high school, after high school do you want to go to college? What do you want to be? Some want to be soldiers, some want to be doctors? If you want to become a doctor, raise your hand," said the vice president.

Hearing the Vice President's question, with great enthusiasm, one by one the students conveyed their dreams ranging from becoming an engineer to president.

"Who wants to be an engineer, who wants to be a governor? Anyone who wants to be president? Wow, it turns out that many want to be president," joked the Vice President.

Then, based on the Antara report, the Vice President gave advice that in order to achieve all goals, one condition is that you study hard.

"Are you ready or not to go to college, to university, to graduate?" asked the Vice President.

"Ready," the students answered in unison.

So far, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin seems to be paying great attention to efforts to develop superior human resources in the country.

On various occasions, the Vice President often conveys the importance of Indonesia having a generation that not only masters science and technology (IPTEK) but also faith and piety (IMTAQ), one of which is reflected in noble character. Including his message to the students of SDN 10 Pangkalpinang this morning.

"I ask you to study hard so that later you have science and technology (IPTEK). You must become superior human beings, not only possessing technological knowledge but also having noble character, having good manners," asked the Vice President.
