JAKARTA - The candidate for deputy mayor of South Tangerang, Rahayu Saraswati, has again received negative attacks from citizens. This time, an account displays a photo of her pregnancy or what is commonly called a maternity shoot with a narrative that she considers harassing.

According to her, her pregnancy photo is an old photo, when she captured the pregnancy of her first child. He regretted that this photo taken 5 years ago was misused.

"The photo shown is a photo taken by my husband when I was pregnant with my first child more than five years ago. Why is it not easy to get? Because I uploaded that photo when the photo was immortalized, that is, again more than five years ago. and the photo is just a photo, but the person in question, the uploader wrote, "Those who want to vote please", said Sara, as quoted from her Facebook account Rahayu Saraswati D. He considered, there is nothing wrong with this pregnancy photo or maternity shoot. The photo is an expression of happiness as a prospective parent.

However, the photo was considered a form of showing off his body, and was used as an attack to question his worthiness as a leader.

Sara emphasized that what this netizen did was a form of sexual harassment that could not be tolerated.

"Regardless of each other's personal beliefs and our perspective on how to dress properly, the words used are clearly forms of harassment and this cannot be tolerated at all," he stressed.

"If this blessing can be used to harass a woman, mother, and candidate for regional leaders, then is this example that we will give to the next generation? Does she who writes it feel comfortable if her mother is treated like that by anyone?" he added.

Sara admitted that she was sad because there were parties who agreed with the actions of the uploader of her pregnancy photos, saying this was natural for public figures and asked Sara to delete her uploads. She is also sad because this means that women's struggles to be able to struggle without being linked to individuals are still far away.

"This actually gives me certainty that there are still many people who have superficial thoughts and impose their point of view on others," he said.

Reflecting on this incident, Sara asked all parties to stop objectifying women.
