Plenary Meeting, DPR Speaker Inaugurates Four Members Of PAW

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives (DPR) holds a plenary meeting. DPR chairman Puan Maharani inaugurated four interim replacements (PAW) of DPR members.

The inauguration was based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 62/P/2022 dated June 7, 2022, regarding the inauguration of the interim replacement of members of the DPR and MPR remaining in office for 2019-2024.

The four members of the DPR, namely Bahtra from the Gerindra faction in the constituency of Central Sulawesi replaced Haerul Saleh. Difriadi from the Gerindra faction in the South Kalimantan 2 constituency replaces Muhammad Nur.

Then, Riswan Toni DK from the Golkar faction in the Lampung 2 constituency replaced Azis Syamsuddin, and Ravindra Airlangga from the Golkar faction in the West Java 5 constituency replaced M Ichsan Firdaus who died.

Puan directly guided the four members of the DPR to read the oath of promise as members of the DPR.

"Are you willing to take an oath according to Islam?" asked Puan, which was followed by a willing answer from the PAW members.

Puan said, this oath is against God Almighty and humans, which must be kept with all sincerity and honesty.

"I should remind you that the oath that you are about to take contains responsibility for the nation and state of the Republic of Indonesia, the responsibility for maintaining and saving Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia", said Puan.

Furthermore, the four members of the interim replacement (PAW) of DPR followed the oath of office read by Puan Maharani.

"By Allah, I swear that I will fulfill my obligations as a member of the People's Legislative Assembly in the best possible way and fairly by the laws and regulations based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia", said Puan followed by PAW members.
