Koprs Brimob Will Place 36,000 Personnel In The Western, Central, And Eastern Regions Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Brimob Corps will place 36 thousand personnel in the new work unit (satker). Later, they will be assigned to the Western, Central, and Eastern regions of Indonesia.

This placement is a follow-up to the improvement in the structure of the Mobile Brigade Corps some time ago.

"Each PASBM (Brimob Troops, ed) has four officials. The fulfillment of personnel will be gradual until 2045," said the Head of the Mobile Brigade Corps for the Police Brigadier General Rudy Harianto when confirmed, Monday, June 13.

This means, each satker will be filled with 12 thousand Brimob personnel. For the West region, it will be concentrated in Langsa, East Aceh. They will cover assignments in the area of Sumatra Island. Then, for personnel assigned to the Central Indonesia region, it will be concentrated in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. Their authority covers the areas of Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.

Finally, Brimob personnel assigned to the Eastern region will be concentrated in Mimika District, Papua. Their coverage area is Maluku and Papua.

Later, each satker will be led by a Brigadier General (Brigjen) or Brigadier General (Brigjen).

"Assigned to carry out the task of coaching and mobilizing forces in providing operational tactical assistance to their respective regions," he said.

The increase in the structure of the Mobile Brigade Corps is in accordance with the provisions contained in the Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 54 of 2022 concerning the Second Amendment to the Presidential Regulation Number 52 of 2010 concerning the Organizational Structure and Work Procedure of the Indonesian National Police.
