SOLO - Solo City Satpol PP has placed a special unit in the sub-district to detect disturbances to public order and public peace (tribuntranmas) early.

"Yesterday, there was a directive to optimize the role of the Satlinmas in order to help with the tribuntranmas," said Solo City Satpol PP Head Arif Darmawan after a joint rally for the development of Linmas and related elements by the Surakarta City Forkompimda at the Jebres District Office, Solo, Antara, Monday, June 13. .

To follow up on the directive, he said, a tribuntranmas acceleration unit was formed in the sub-district. "We put a team in each sub-district to help because in PP No. 17 of 2019 the organizer of tribuntranmas in each sub-district is the sub-district head. However, so far, the Camat doesn't have troops, only linmas," he said.

Therefore, his party strengthens it by establishing a handling unit under the Satpol PP in each sub-district.

"Thus, early detection is stronger, enforcement by Satpol PP because Linmas cannot take action, only limited to early detection," he said.

Meanwhile, at the direction of the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, his party continues to try to optimize the role of the linmas members, totaling 873 people. Gibran emphasized that the strengthening of the Linmas task force was more responsive and sub-district units made conducive reports.

"This morning's call is a commitment to the Surakarta City Government to improve the quality and human resources, members of the linmas must be enthusiastic about taking steps and actions to be professional so they are able to maintain," he said.

The mayor said that environmental security would support the accelerated growth and development of the city.
